DFP-1™ Dual Fluorescent Protein Flashlight - introduced summer 2008
One flashlight that enables you to screen for both green and red fluorescent proteins in your transgenic experiments.
The NightSea DFP-1 Dual Fluorescent Protein Flashlight includes two 3W high intensity light-emitting diodes in combination with custom interference filters to provide
effective fluorescence excitation for both GFP and DsRed. Turn the switch one way and you have blue light to excite GFP, turn it the other way for intense green light to excite DsRed. The light comes with two pairs of barrier filter glasses - one for use with each of the LEDs - that block all of the reflected light and transmit the fluorescence.

"The light works amazingly well. ... We were able to do in 15 minutes
what would have previously taken over three hours to complete. ... We're in awe; your lamps have made our genotyping so much easier."
"Thanks for the flashlights. We tested one out in our animal facility today and it works really well. Thanks for the help!"
