The NightSea DFP-1 Dual Fluorescent Protein Flashlight includes two 3W high intensity light-emitting diodes, each
fitted with a custom interference filter. Turn the switch one way and you have blue light to excite GFP, turn it the other way for
intense green light to excite DsRed. The DFP-1 comes with two pairs of barrier filter glasses - one for use with each of the LEDs -
that block all of the reflected light and transmit the fluorescence.
Hundreds of research institutions around the world are using NightSea equipment with fluorescent proteins and other types of fluorescence research.
