FISH-labeled Planarian (Schmidtea mediterranea)

SMED – (Schmidtea mediterranea) labeled with fluorescence by FISH (fluorescence in situ hybridization)

All images made on a conventional stereo microscope outfitted with the NIGHTSEA Model SFA Stereo Microscope Fluorescence Adapter. The system can be used to easily screen samples for successful preparation prior to moving to higher resolution imaging techniques.
