Fluorescence Images by Dianna Osborn

The photographs on this page were taken by Dianna G. Osborn, an underwater photographer attending a general photography course, using the NightSea accessory kit for the first time. These photographs of fluorescing corals were taken off Cayman Brac at depths of 6 - 9 meters (20 - 30 feet).

Camera: Nikonos V with 35 mm lens and 1:3 extension tube

Camera filter: NightSea BB58FA barrier filter

Electronic flash: Nikon SB105

Excitation filter: NightSea BE3 exciter filter

Film: Fujichrome ASA 400

F-stop: f4 - f8

Exposure: TTL mode, changing ASA setting to achieve bracketing
