Did you ever wonder how a new piece of equipment comes into existence? We did not set out to the world’s need for a robust, economical way to give fluorescence superpowers to ordinary stereo microscopes. The Model SFA Stereo Microscope Fluorescence Adapter arose from a solution to our own research challenge in marine biology – finding tiny coral recruits (babies) on settlement tiles.
